Ladies, The Top Ten Signs That You Are Overly Keen In Your Relationship

ByKiara Hawke

. But first, it's nice to be keen in a relationship because it shows that we're interested. It's a healthy outward sign of our devotion. It's only when keenness oversteps the boundaries that it's of more concern. Too much keenness may lead to your partner feeling crowded out because keenness may lead you to want to be with him all the time. It's not always good to constantly be with our partners. We all need our personal space and time to indulge in our hobbies. If you feel yourself being overly keen in your relationship, try and figure out why, especially if you're not usually the keen type.

It may be indicative of an underlying issue that isn't being dealt with. It may be that you're feeling insecure or your partner is withdrawing from you for various reasons. Maybe he's just tired from working long hours and needs to recharge. Or maybe you suspect infidelity and want to be beside him to keep watch. A little keenness is fine. Any more than a "little" and you should probably examine your relationship and ask the reason behind your behaviour.

Ten Top Signs Of Over Keenness

1. If you find yourself clinging to him like a desperate limpet when you wake up in the morning. This is more worrying if you've both gone to sleep after an argument.

2. Standing behind the door eagerly waiting for him to put the key in the lock after he returns from his hard day's work.

3. Offering to buy his undies.

4. Offering to wash his undies.

5. Offering to iron his undies.

6. In fact, anything to do with his undies.

7. Volunteering to walk his dog on a dark, wintery night as he lies on the couch snoring after downing the delicious five-course meal you slaved over.

8. Finding out your phone battery has run out due to the endless lovey dovey texts you sent during lunchtime.

9. Offering to keep him company when he has his head stuck under the bonnet of his car as he tries to fix it. It's not very exciting, ladies. Not even for him. Besides, cars are so computerised nowadays that he's probably more lost than a sheep in a snowstorm.

10. Telling him, "Of course you know what you're doing" as he has his head stuck under the bonnet of his car. He probably doesn't but just likes giving the impression he does.
