Body Language
Body language really is as important as everybody says it is. Your body language should be relaxed and natural. You should stand up straight and make slow, relaxed movements. Make sure that you don't invade the girl's personal space during the day time.
Facial Expressions
Facial expressions are also extremely important. If you've got the right facial expression behind it, you can pull off any line in the book. You can say something like, 'I can see that you and me are never going to get along,' and she'll see that you're saying it as a joke. If you're not good at using your face, practice in front of a mirror and maybe take some acting classes.
I don't care how much you've studied how to approach a woman at night, it's a totally different game in the day time. There's no alcohol or loud music to cover for you. That's why it's so important to make sure you've got the basics down pat.
